Attention Parents Coaches and Managers
All teams are required to work the snack bar 2 or 3 times during the season. Your team’s snack bar shift will be posted in the yearbook on your team roster page. Please remember to check to see when you are scheduled. If your team is scheduled to work the snack bar prior to the yearbooks being handed out, your manager will be notified by phone or email.
You will need 4 people for your shift. The shifts will be 3-4 hours long depending on the day of the week and game schedule. Try to arrive a few minutes early if possible. You will never be asked to work the snack bar when your child is playing.
If a team (all 4workers) does not show up for their scheduled snack bar duty, the manager of that team will have to sit out of his next game. So, please raise your hand and volunteer when your manager asks.
We have a great buy out program in place, which consists of a group of experienced volunteers who are willing and eager to work the snack bar for you. The cost is $25.00 per person. You are allowed to buy out all 4 workers if you wish. The total cost would be $100.00. This program has been working very well for our league the last couple of years. Advance notice is positively required and you must contact Craig or Freddie for the buy out workers.
As you may or may not know, the revenue generated by the snack bar helps subsidize many of the expenses the league incurs every year. It also assists in keeping the sign up fees low.
