La Mirada Little League and the City of La Mirada have mandated that all volunteers be fingerprinted and have a Department of Justice background check completed prior to having any contact with the youth in our league.  Every coach, manager, umpire, team mom and board memeber are compelled to this new screening program.  (Only one time for Little League, return volunteers need not scan again)

All Managers Coaches must complete the "Live-Scan" background check for La Mirada Little League.  The league has made arrangements with Postal Annex in La Habra.  Please call in advance to make an appointment.  There is a $20.00 fee to be paid to Postal Annex.

Security/Safety  

Any and all Coaches/Managers and Team Moms must have completed the Live Scan fingerprinting and background check process before interfacing with the players.  Coaches not having complied with this City of La Mirada requirement may not be on the field during practices or games.


Any person found in violation of this requirement may lose their eligibility to coach in Little League.
