Mission Statement

Little League Baseball, Incorporated is a non-profit organization whose mission it is "To promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball."  Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the little league program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being.  By exposing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball and Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

To achieve this objective, La Mirada Little League provides to the youth in the city a supervised program of recreation baseball under the rules and policies of Little League Baseball , Inc. and the La Mirada Athletic Council. 

The Board of Directors, Officers and Members shall bear in mind that stressing exceptional athletic skills or winning games is secondary to teaching the youth of our community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and grow to be decent, healthy and trustworthy adults.
